NewCastle record signing Miguel Almiron impressed on his full debut as Newcastle United eased past 10-man Huddersfield Town to move four points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
After a goalless first half from both Newcastle and Huddersfield Town, Former westBrom striker Salomon Rondon swept in the opener 59 seconds into the second half.
Though an impressive display from Miguel Almiron on his full debut but no goal for him as Ayoze Perez put in the second for Newcastle United.
The home side hit the woodwork twice more. Kenedy volleyed against the bar, before Sean Longstaff curled against the post.

The Terriers had captain Tommy Smith sent off for a lunging challenge on Almiron in the 20th minute.
The game for Newcastle means three successive home wins in the Premier League – for the first time since last April – to move up to 14th.
Huddersfield Town have lost all four of their matches under new manager Jan Siewert and remain 14 points adrift of safety.
The Paraguayan Miguel Almiron was handed his full debut by Benitez after coming on as a substitute at Wolves earlier this month – and he did not disappoint the home fans with a sharp performance.
Miguel Almiron played a key role in one of the game’s pivotal moments, forcing a desperate lunge out of right-back Smith that left referee Kevin Friend reaching for the red card.
In the second half, he continued to pose problems for Huddersfield and it was unsurprising to see him receive a loud and standing ovation when he was substituted in the 81st minute.
“You saw today he can make a massive difference to us, he is a quality player,” Perez said.
