The 29 year old Madrid winger has had links with premier league side Manchester United but a transfer never happened as some of the past news were claimed to be false.
The four time champions league winner has not been in very good form under Santiago solari and has not seen a lot of playing time but indeed it is to be brought that Bale’s lack of playing time didn’t just start. After the 16/17
Champions League finals, a game in which he had to come in as a substitute in the end not withstanding that it was his hometown, he evidently starting keeping an eye on moving out of the club.
The 29 year old was jeered by the fans when he entered as a substitute against Barcelona in the last game and it shows more significance and reasons for him wanting to leave the club.
He is still on a contract until 2022 but if fully priced could land himself in another club where he would eventually enjoy his football.
The teams in pursuit of him are the English sides Manchester United and his former club Tottenham. No one knows his mind yet but probably we will be seeing a change in sides for the 29 year old by the end of the season.
With teammate Cristiano Ronaldo gone from the club, there has been reduction in performance of players like bale, Marcelo and a few others and many are hoping that it won’t take time before they get back on form.
For the Brazilian left-back Marcelo. Many have been asking what happened to our past best left-back . It seems the Cristiano Ronaldo move didn’t only make an impact on the club but also affected some individual players seriously, one of whom is Marcelo, his regarded best friend in the club.
Recently, Marcelo has had to stay off and sit on the bench while Sergio Reguilon, the 22 year old Spanish left back is played. This is a result of lack of good performance by the Brazilian left back. A four time champions league winner and a player who had made the world XI six times.
It is actually something to look into and a setback to the football world if such a great player could actually fall apart . Hope still leads us to believe that sooner or soonest we will get back to seeing the Marcelo we knew before playing good football in the pitch and we hope that comes soon.
